After touring parts of Frankfurt and Luxembourg yesterday and today, I only have time for a quick post—which will be a list of of tweets (some of them my own) followed by related reading where appropriate. (Writer’s note: banner graphic is via Brandon Jerger on the Twitter machine.)

• You might hear “Bernie is a frontrunner for 2020” or “Democrats are a mess and have nobody on the bench.” All of which is of course buggery bollocky nonsense.

• French president and occasional western heartthrob Emmanuel Macron has some choice words for The Resistance in the United States, calling Trump “a mistake for our planet.”

• Orangina Thinskin continues his Embarrassment in Europe Tour by visiting Poland and embracing an autocratic regime. He needed supporters bused in for the occasion.

• The honorable Chris Christie—undertaker governor of New Jersey—helped himself to beach time with the family, even though the statewide shutdown closed the sandy shores to everyone else. Which of course sparked some epic memes. (lead graphic via Brandon Jerger on Twitter)

I can think of no better way to end the week than seeing an African-American gent swiping the confederate flag off of some big-rig teabagger’s vehicle. Awesome. 🔵

That’s a wrap guys. We’ll see you back here next Thursday at 2 p.m. As always, if you like what you read please consider sharing with a pal.
