Last night I started probably my 300th playback of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, which is an enduring and thought-provoking love letter to peace. Scenes were written and directed with such care and thoughtfulness it almost felt like writers did a Mind Meld with Voltaire.

Calm in the face of sabotage is what we need right now, today, with American democracy hanging in the balance this November. We need boundary-pushing and fearless creatives expanding their crafts, plural, and inspiring others to think differently.

When I asked Nimoy what he thought Mr. Spock would say about his photography, he replied with signature humility. “I think he would find it unique. That’s the best I could hope for.” 🌟
