With meetings and other stuff clogging up the next few days, the main news blog will be on hiatus this week—but look for my first book review over the weekend. Austin Kleon’s Show Your Work! is my new bible for all things creative. You’ll see the effects of Austin’s writing right here on CrankyYank as I barrel ever closer to the blog turning 2 years old.

I’m also launching an effort called “MAGAH!” that is targeted at Trump voters who now regret helping him get elected. Whatever comments and quotes I collect I’ll be putting on the site next week. (e-mail me anytime or click the contact link in my sidebar)

Please send this along to your pals. I will not pass judgment and I expect civility; I do, though, invite people to be flowery and hilarious in their quotes if they see fit. Swearing is OK as long as it’s not insulting someone. MAGAH! will have its own page on the site where folks can write to me securely—I’m also fine with anonymous quotes in this case as it might allow us to post better stuff.

I’m working on some other cool stuff but it’s still in the cooker. Will keep you posted.

That’s it from me guys! Hope you have a safe and happy weekend. 🔵

Make sure to comment often—cranky loves company. As a wholly independent news source, CrankyYank depends on your subscriptions, shares, comments and likes. If you’re enjoying CY, please consider telling a friend.

Support independent authors, writers, artists, journalists, reporters and professionals. Buy a book, leave a review, start a discussion. Thank a reporter if you like a story you see or read. Our success as a nation depends on your engagement and involvement at every level.

I’ve largely set aside my book promotion on Twitter to focus on crimes committed by the Trump administration. There are many other bloggers, pundits and journalists doing the same; make sure to support them at every turn.
