Dating back to last July I’ve been dealing with a broken pinky. Three surgeries and many questionable tennis serves later, I’m in an elaborate cast to keep my left hand stable and immobile.
The doc has given me strict instructions to keep the brace on at all times. Given the fact that it’s next to impossible to type, I’ve got to extend my CrankyYank hiatus another two weeks.
UPDATED: READ MY CRANKYYANK 2017 PREVIEW
BUT we’ll be back at it with a vengeance once the brace comes off—and I start training for spring tennis season. I’ll be reviewing a bunch of mid-season TV premieres and doing some special book promos. Read about it all in my CY 2017 preview (now updated with news of a Will & Grace limited series reboot).
Just got word that my Sundance gig was canceled, so I’ll have to wait until next year to hit the big time. 😉
Until then, please keep up with my shenanigans on the Twitter machine and Facebook.

Don’t sweat the small stuff. We got bigger fish to fry in the near future. Don’t sit on the sidelines—Democracy needs you to be active and in the game. ❏
